As of June 6th we are slowly/cautiously opening the studio back up and will start having In-Studio classes along with Zoom.  It is not mandatory or required to come to the studio for class.  If you decide to come here are some general rules:

A.) You must bring your own mask to wear throughout your class.
B.) Twinkle Stars classes will be held through Zoom only.
C.) If you feel sick, have a cough, or feel slightly under the weather, you cannot participate in classes inside the studio.
D.) If you choose to stay home instead of coming to the studio, all studio classes will still be held through Zoom, so you can still take the class through the comfort of your home.

If you do decide to come to a class in person here is the procedure:

Your Procedure for In-Studio Classes

1.) The entrance has been moved to the back door due to construction in front.  Your dancer should be dropped off at the back of the studio and then enter through our red room (studio 1) door.

2.) At the red room entrance, you will be met with a hand sanitizing station as well as having your temperature taken with a no-contact thermometer.  If your temperature reads 100.4 or above, you are considered to have a fever and will not be allowed to participate inside the studio.

3.) You will be allowed to go through the hallway and drop off your belongings, change into your dance outfit, and change your street shoes to your dance shoes.

4.) Once you’ve gotten ready for class, you may enter through the red room or blue room and your instructor will appoint you to a taped-off dance square where you’ll be able to enjoy your in-studio class experience!

5.) When classes have finished, you will be allowed to return to the dressing rooms and gather your things. You will leave through the same way you entered which is the red room back entrance.

6.) In between classes, our staff will ensure that the rooms have been sanitized and cleaned.

If we hit capacity, 9 students, we will then start scheduling shifts to come in to the studio by scheduling In-Studio participation.  Here is how that will work:

Scheduling In-Studios Class Participation

Each studio (blue and red) will be allowed up to 9 dancers at a time.  If the class exceeds 9 dancers registered, we will set up a rotating schedule where half the dancers will be scheduled in for the first day of classes and the rest will take the class through zoom.  Then, on the second day, the two groups will switch.  Here’s a quick example –

Mary is enrolled in Hip Hop 1 which is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays.  There are 14 students registered in that class.  We will have Mary and 6 fellow students in that class come to the studio on Mondays while the other 7 students take the same class through zoom at the same time.  Then on Wednesday, Mary will switch to zoom from home along with the 6 other students while the other half comes into the studio to do their turn of In-Studio Class.
Thank you and please stay safe.
